Snow In upstate New York is not uncommon.  But it’s March?   And it is snowing and big beautiful flakes are coming down as I write this. Now don’t get me wrong, snow is beautiful; I actually like snow and I can’t imagine living without the four seasons.  But it’s the middle of March!!!!

This photograph was taken at St. Pete’s beach.  Sometimes my photography is my own calmness.  The photo reminds me of some wonderful family time during that vacation and incredible peacefulness watching the ocean and being on the beach.  It has been a very long winter in upstate New York.   It has been one of the snowiest winters on record.  One place, about 40 miles from me has received over 30 feet of snow this year – think 3 story building!

Spring is coming.  Officially it starts in 4 days.  I think we will still have snow on the ground…………
