National Park Nature Photography

Do you love our National Parks? The US National Park System is a true national treasure.   Over 400 national parks preserve 85 million acres of the world’s most treasured historical sites, landscapes and ecosystems.  Whether you are decorating a home or room, or want to preserve memories of a vacation, National Park photography prints can bring the outdoors into your home.  When we are outside, it is easy to recognize the beauty of nature.  We don’t just see it.  We feel it, hear it and touch it.  But once inside, it can become a vague memory,  A good way to bring some of nature’s beauty inside where we can enjoy it year round is with nature photography to hang in our home and office walls.  Nature home decor creates a focal point in your room for both black and white pictures or colorful landscape pictures.

Why decorate with Natural Park photography prints?

Nature is all around us.  There are sprawling forests, tall trees, vast deserts, enormous mountains and flowers.  Our National Parks provide us all of this.  You can set the tone and mood for your home with fine art nature photography.   It will inspire and uplift your guest.   Fine art has the power to inspire, improve your well being and quality of life and reduce stress.

Decorating ideas

Single images

National park photography prints can make powerful statements as single images.   A single image becomes a focal point in your room.

This calming hot spring in Yellowstone National Park provides a sense of peace and tranquility when decorating a home.

Mountains remind us of something larger than ourselves. Gazing at mountains brings a feeling of peace. This nature home decor Smoky Mountain National Park print and storm provides a focal point in this room.

Groups of images

Nature photography is very effective as groups of photographs.  The grouping will still provide a focal point, but will also flow the design throughout the room.

Select images that have a common theme and color.

Note the similar colors of these National Park pictures from the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. Combining like colors with nature home decor sets the tone for this office area.

Small rooms

If you have a small square room, you can create the illusion of more length with photography.   Arrange several pictures in a horizontal line on one of the walls when decorating a home or office.

Prints with strong vertical lines will make your ceilings appear higher.  Use this technique if you have low ceilings.

Long narrow rooms

You can also make a long narrow room appear more square with photography wall art.   Large natural prints can create this illusion.  Putting a large print on one end of the walls of the narrow room.   It will appear to bring the wall in closer to create a cozy feel in the room.

Black and white pictures

Black and white pictures are classic, timeless and chic.  Adding a monochrome set of pictures can be calming and inspirational.

Whether you  need a statement piece for your entryway or accent piece for a smaller room, you can bring your space alive with uplifting National Park Photography prints.   The right piece of art can make a functional space feel like home.

Next time you want or need to redecorate, look into nature photography wall art to bring the outdoors in.   Enjoying nature in your home will make your living space feel more inviting.
